He is a descendant of Bernhardt Lopatka, a 19th Century Russian master portrait painter and engraver who produced commissions for Russian and German nobility. He is also descended from Roman-Calabrian Italian poets and painters. His uncle, Gregory Corso, is recognized as an important 20th Century American poet. |
