Canfield Gallery specializes in modern art of the 20th and 21st century. In Santa Fe in the heart of the gallery district for twenty-five years, the owners are Kenneth Canfield and Barbara Canfield, both with backgrounds in visual arts and communications. Pamela A. McMahan, gallery director, is a longtime Santa Fe resident and fine artist. Canfield Gallery exhibits paintings from the estates of artists of mid-20th century—including Lawrence Calcagno, Thomas Benrimo, Jorge Fick, Leo Garel, J Ward Lockwood, Oli Sihvonen and Robert Jay Wolff—many of whom had close connections to Taos and Santa Fe as well as to the New York and California art worlds.
