Yes, it’s true. I am Chuck! I started making candy professionally, for the first time, at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. That was in the fall of 1982. The whole experience proved to me that I could actually make a living AND have fun at the same time!!! I haven’t been the same since. Those of you attending the Minnesota Renaissance Festival may have known my candy as “The King’s Nuts.” Hence, the current name. Although The King’s Nuts continued in existence, I transferred ownership to someone else a few years later and have personally, continued to learn and further refine the art of making candy.
