John Zubchenok is a lighting designer/consultant and president of Firefly Lighting. He was born in Queens, New York. At age seventeen he ventured across the United States in a Classic 1954 Chevrolet Step Side. His adventure brought him to the Southwest where he became captivated by the environment, and chose to make Santa Fe, New Mexico his home.
