Gail Ackerman was first drawn to hatha yoga in her early teens to address chronic headaches and physical discomfort. Because of her personal experience, she has a compassionate approach to teaching others and helping all students with their personal challenges. Gail's teaching incorporates respect for each individual and invites all students to move deeper within to find their own inner guidance and to more fully understand their bodies and its innate wisdom. Gail is a certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor, and is experienced with the healing aspects of therapeutic yoga as well as the benefits of a varied and active class practice.
